Bedazzled tissue boxes, collaborative detergents, and earthy perfumes

I like to believe the world of fragrance and style just knew INNER CIRCUS was launching this week because they really brought it with the caliber of product drop announcements and collaborations. Hold onto your seats, and your wallets for that matter, because you’ll probably want to buy all of these items:

Susan Alexandra’s Bedazzled Tissue Boxes

Why cry holding a beige colored cardboard Kleenex box, when you could cry holding a colorful, jewel-coated Kleenex box?! One that you could then place as a decorative element next to the Method soap in your bathroom? Susan Alexandra’s newest collection of 4 highly decorated tissue boxes promises a more cheerful, elevated tissue-using experience. As their launch post states, “Why shouldn’t sneezing feel sparkly?” Or crying, during and post allergy season.

“Why shouldn’t sneezing feel sparkly?”

I’m sorry to disappoint, but if you’re coming over anytime soon, you won’t be seeing these in my home. Despite being a massive fan of Susan Alexandra, I would probably be locked in my bedroom reciting a constant stream of meditations after splurging $248 on a tissue box. But that’s just me and my post-college, entry-level working self talking. One day, I’ll be the target market. In the meantime, I’ll be here, manifesting away…

DedCool x Ouai’s Melrose Place Detergent

One cool brand plus ANOTHER cool brand equals COOLEST partnership ever.

DedCool and Ouai, two badass female-founded brands, have joined forces to create a co-branded, limited edition detergent. What makes it special? Your clothes will now smell like a fresh bouquet of roses.

I love being gifted roses, but I’m not a huge fan of the rose scent. Also, while I wholeheartedly trust DedCool and Ouai, there is something about switching my laundry detergent that gives me a little bit of anxiety. What if it messes up the softness of my clothes? What if it has some random ingredient that will make my favorite sweater shrink? Overthinking? Yes. Will I try it? Honestly, this power this duo holds may be reason enough to step outside of my comfort zone.

Ceremonia’s Perfume de La Tierra

You asked, and they listened! After months of pleas and requests, Ceremonia announced they are launching their first fragrance: Ceremonia Perfume de La Tierra.

As expected, the marketing is *chef's kiss*. The scenic footage of green hills and river streams is really giving the earthy, natural tones rooted in the scent. As someone who works in advertising, it’s truly shocking how easily I can be persuaded by aesthetically pleasing marketing content.

Personally, it takes a lot of me to experiment with new scents. I’ve used Cool Water since my mom gave it to me at 17 years old. I bought Glossier’s You perfume a couple of weeks ago, and have been enjoying it. I also need to stick with it to tell myself it was a worthwhile purchase. Regardless, in the spirit of adventure and trying new things, I may try Perfume de la Tierra. We’ll see.
