Wearable supplements are the newest emerging wellness trend to know

What do you mean you don’t take 10 supplements a day? I mean, how else are you going to get your vitamins in? And don’t forget about gut health. There’s a prebiotic for that!

You may think we’re being sarcastic - well we kind of are - but supplements have been all the craze over the past couple of years. Take Ritual, for example. The women’s health brand pioneered the use of supplements as a “daily essential” helping promote gut health and hydrated skin among many other things. And don’t forget about melatonin gummies that everyone has probably used at least once in their lives at this point to help them fall asleep.

Recently, newer brands have been pushing beyond the confines of traditional health benefits to create products that help with more niche conditions rooted in mental wellness. Kourtney Kardashian’s supplements line, Lemme, sells sea moss-infused gummies for vaginal health, period relief, and even…falling in love?

That one’s feeling questionable, someone needs to test it out and report back.

It seems the newest supplements trend isn’t one you can digest, but rather something you can put on the surface of your skin for fast-acting relief. Anxiety relief, to be exact.

Meet “Wearables,” the first-of-its-kind skin patch giving you all the vitamins and nutrients you need for anxiety relief, better sleep, and more energy:

The products have all-natural ingredients and are fragrance, paraben, and irritation free, so they say. The most interesting point on their website seems to be that they have “intuitive distribution.” By that, the patches release a steady amount of nutrients throughout the day and night so you never get too much, or too little, at once.

You can wear Wearables for 12 hours at a time, so we may see people proudly wearing their ombre patches the same way people wear their Starface patches with pride. If you’re not familiar, Starface are these star-shaped acne pimple patches worn by countless celebrities and influencers:

The brand completely revolutionized the category by destigmatizing acne and making the category playful in a way it definitely was not previously. It’s fair to say the work Starface has done will propel people to showcase their own Wearables patches with the same confidence, and hopefully lead to a culture shift where people are comfortable being more open with their mental health.

So, for the most important question: will we be seeing you in Wearables anytime soon?
